Guacamole is a Mexican sauce made of avocado. The names comes from two words, ahuacatl (avocado) and molli (sauce). The thick savoury and rich paste is universal. The sauce is perfect for fasting menu, may be a snack of its own, or go with any dish as an appetizer, sauce or garnish. Mexicans do not hesitate to pair it with a wide variety of ingredients, most often with tortillas, flatbread, toasts, potato crisps and nachos
